Steve, I still feel the shock of the news and I'm in awe reading about all your great work, to us you were a very kind,caring neighbor, but for many you were a hero!

My deepest sympathies to all who knew and will miss Steven. I met him once about 20 years ago. That one meeting has stayed with me and lead me to accomplish great things. Steve was a true blessing. His kindness, character and vision will be sorely missed.

I will never forget this gentle Giant. Regardless of his status he was always approachable, kind, caring and respectful. What you had to say was always important to him. He came to the Glades area and met so many needs of a very grateful people. He gave so much but never asked for anything. My dearest Steve, Rest in Peace!!
