I am sorry to hear of Vern's passing. I first met him many years ago when I was just a rookie SCCA driver. He was a great guy and always looked for all his old friends to share a few stories with and catch up on how everyone was doing. He will be missed by us all.

Julie and family, I only knew Vern as an avid auto racing guy. I met him thru another good friend who has past on, Fred Roberts and there were many good times with the three of us. So sorry to hear of your loss and mine, but I'm sure where ever his sole is it's close to auto racing. As he use to say "keep it on the asphalt and out of the dirt" Regards Chuck Durling SCCA
