I am sorry to hear of Vern's passing. I first met him many years ago when I was just a rookie SCCA driver. He was a great guy and always looked for all his old friends to share a few stories with and catch up on how everyone was doing. He will be missed by us all.

So sorry to hear of Vern's passing. We always had fun working together for SCCA. He will be missed but he is in a far better place.

Dear Julie and Jana
Vern was a verry good friend and I will miss him alot. We had some good times together at the track and down in the grove.I know how much you will miss him but you are not alone. Rember all the good times you had with him and it will help you.

Julie, sorry to hear of your loss. Vern was a good friend and a fellow steward. I worked with him countless times over the years. He will be missed. John Edridge

Julie and family, I only knew Vern as an avid auto racing guy. I met him thru another good friend who has past on, Fred Roberts and there were many good times with the three of us. So sorry to hear of your loss and mine, but I'm sure where ever his sole is it's close to auto racing. As he use to say "keep it on the asphalt and out of the dirt" Regards Chuck Durling SCCA

I am so sorry to hear about Vern. He and I retired at the same time and I have enjoyed the many time he and I spoke about NC. My condolences to the Family Neal Schneider

Julie-Vern was really a special friend who would speak his mind and hold to his convictions. We will truly miss him. Hugs to you and Jenna from across the country, and thank you for being there for him. I can just picture him as host at one of your wonderful parties! Thinking of him on the Memorial Day.
