They don't make them like Leonard anymore. They never did make many.

The Gold Coast Jazz Society is deeply saddened with the loss of our dear friend, founding board member and loyal patron, Leonard Robbins. We know that Leonard is fulfilling his love of music and art in a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sally and the Robbins family.

I served with Leonard for many years on the Board of Florida Grand Opera. I was always impressed by his opinions and suggestions. His warm and personable way with others was such a positive force. His support of FGO and so many other organizations in the South Florida community are examples of how great this gentleman was. We should all be grateful for having known Leonard. He set such an example for all to follow. My sincere condolences to Sally and family.

Mel and I join our entire community in celebrating the life of this true gentleman. Lenny and Sally have contributed to the positive growth and change of South Florida, and we are a much better place to live, work and play because of Leonard Robbins.

Mel and I share the loss of our dear friend, Leonard Robbins. Our wish for Sally and the family is that their sadness is soon replaced with smiles of wonderful memories of this true gentleman. He described himself as a "country lawyer", but elevated the legal profession and so much more. We are a better place to live, thanks to Lenny and Sally.
