I rented a studio apartment from Ed Milberg Miami Beach in the 1990s -One morning I came home from working overnight arrived at 5-6 am- Ed says .. " cmon we´re going " he took me to breakfast to a place that obviously had been going for many years - he was known by all- It was one of the most cherished memories I have to date - he treated me like a son- I love him - I´m holding back tears as I´m writing this - I tell that story often-What a treat it was that morning way back when- Thank You so much !! Rest in peace sir- My condolences to the family-

Thank you Mr Milberg for all you provided me and all of our classmates from the day Norland opened in 1958 until I graduated in 1964.
I went through bad decisions I made in 1959 and in 1960 and you were an inspiration for me to make better decisions.
Rest in Peace.
Sent with much love

I served as student body treasure in 1972 and share an office and school period with Mr. Milberg for the entire school year. He and Marilyn were also neighbors. A lovelier couple I never met. The door has finally closed on High school with his passing. He call me LaRosa, even at the 30th reunion. He was Army and I served in the same division. Didn't know it till now. RIP, LaRosa

Rest in Peace my friend, You were always so kind to Auxi and I. I enjoyed our long conversations at your dining table about politics and current events every time I stopped by to pay our rent.
Ed we often speak of you and you'll certainly be missed.

A one-of-a-kind generous human being, and one of the funniest guys I have ever known. I met Ed thanks to his wife Marilyn, a star disaster social services coordinator for the Miami Red Cross.
I transferred to Miami from the St. Louis Red Cross in 1993 and Ed was there to help me get my bearings in Miami Beach.
Always great conversations and good times over coffee at Arnie & Richie's.
He will remain always in our thoughts.
We miss you Ed!

I was a Class of 1962 student who had Ed Milberg for History and then worked in the Activities Office for two years. He wrote a recommendation to help me get a scholarship for college. I moved back to Miami in the 1990s and I was part of the lunch group that met every month or so. I am only sorry that I didn't get to know his family.

In your job as Student Activities Director at Miami Norland you touched so many lives. I listened to your morning announcements from 1958-1964 and remember the emotion in your voice when on December 22 1963 you announced President Kennedy's Assassination. My time at Norland went from aspiring Major League Baseball Player, to Juvenile Delinquent, to a member of Norland's first winning football team. Throughout my 6 years you were a constant and a rock of how to do it the right way.
Rest in peace knowing you left this world a much better place than you found it.
With love
