Sharon Lee Fiock Taylor

1942 - 2014

Sharon was called to heaven May 11, 2014, passing away at home in Macdoel, Calif. Sharon was born July 14, 1942, and raised in Yreka, Calif., and graduated from Yreka High School in June 1960. She worked at Macdoel Elementary School for many years as a teacher's aide and, when opportunity knocked, she took it and opened Sharon's Cafe. This was right down her alley; she was a very social person. Sharon's Cafe was the place where people gathered for their morning coffee, something great to eat, or just to catch up on the morning gossip. Sharon was very active in the Macdoel community and loved her town, but most of all she loved her family, many of whom were not related, but still considered family. Sharon was "Mom" to many people. Thanks, Mom, for loving us all, unconditionally! Sharon leaves behind Jim, her beloved husband and best friend; children, Teri, Michael, and James Hagedorn and Robert, David and Scotty Taylor; grandchildren, Joshua and his wife, Emily, Cory James, Kristen, Cindy, Emily, Jessica and Brandi; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Addison, Ashley, Aubrey and Kolte; and many dear friends.
