Mr Kostyniak had a profound impact on my life. I knew his son Larry from high school and met him at Grayson College. He convinced me nuclear engineering was a good field of study. I got my BS in NE from Texas A&M and subsequently had 40+ year career in the NE field.

Ed and I were classmates at the US Military Academy and since we were both from Illinois, we became good friends. We went our separate ways during our Air Force careers, but my memories of time spent with Ed were always pleasant ones and I treasured his friendship. I extend my sympathy and condolences to his family. I know that he will be sorely missed. In sympathy,

I was sorry to hear of Mr. Kostyniak's passing. His son, Larry, and I have been friends since our high school days. Mr. Kostyniak had a big impact on my life. It was as a result of talking with him at Grayson County College that I chose my life's profession - Nuclear Engineering. I will also never forget the time when I was very low on money at Grayson and he helped me get a scholarship. I have good memories of visiting his home in Denison and talking with him.
