Barbara Graves
Barbara was born June 9, 1932 in Seattle, Washington. She was the daughter of Oscar and Minnie Strum. Barbara was a secretary at several places, including her church. She later became the secretary for the Snohomish Country Councilmen Don Britain and Don Bailey. After working with them for many years, she became the bookkeeper of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington.
Barbara was married to Jim Graves for 51 years. During that time, they had three daughters, seven grandchildren and one grandchild, with one great-grandchild on the way.
She was a lover of God, her wonderful husband, chocolate, and murder mysteries. She will be greatly missed.
Any contributions can be made to benefit the Bible Baptist Church at 805 West Casino Road in Everett, Washington.
Viewing will be held at Solie Funeral Home at 3301 Colby Avenue in Everett on Thursday, January 20, 2011 and Friday, January 21, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the Bible Baptist Church on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Jim - I feel blessed to have known your sweet wife and to witness the great love the two of you shared. she will be missed by the entire staff at the 112th Street Diner, she was one of our favorites. God Bless you and your family in this sad time.

In the relativly few years we've known Barb we always appreciated her smile and positive attitude even through all the medical problems she has experienced. She will be missed.
