David McCausland Obituary


David McCausland

David McCausland, 50, of Everett, WA, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2011.
David was born October 23, 1960 in Everett, WA where he lived his entire life, graduating from Cascade High School in 1979.
David was full of life and loved to explore the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. He was an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast. Most of all, his biggest love was for his family.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Donna Armstrong; bother, Darren Armstrong (Wendy), all of Everett; aunts, Bonnie McCausland of Skykomish, WA, Carol McCausland of Everett, Sharon Silvers (Earl) of Puyallup, WA; and uncle, Dr. Robert Armstrong (Nita) of Cypress TX; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norm and Clarice McCausland of Skykomish; and uncles, Dennis and Stuart McCausland.
At his request, no public services will be held. His ashes will be spread in the mountains he loved to hike.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the care of Solie Funeral Home, Everett.

Dave,
Though I haven't seen you for a few years memories of you pop up from time to time. We did some great hikes like Mt McCausland in the fall, Ape Caves at St Helens and our cross country adventure up the mountain loop.
You were a great friend and I'll think of you on the trail. Take care, Ed

Dave..wow.. We have alot of good memories in the 30 plus years we've known each other. From those first days at Lyon's Restuarant to present. All the great hikes and Concerts...and the crazy stuff we did in the Eighties.It was an honor to be your friend. Love you and will miss you Buddy. Rock on Man !!
