Adrian Fuller Obituary

Adrian V. Fuller

Adrian V. Fuller, 62, passed away December 29, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he resided.
He was born July 16, 1948, in Bellingham, Washington, the son of Verna and Adrian Fuller. He later moved to Everett, Washington, where he graduated from Cascade High School. Serving two tours in Vietnam, he rose to the rank of captain in the United States Army and further distinguished himself by being awarded several honors, most notably the Bronze Star and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross. He continued his education, earning a BA degree at the University of Washington.
Adrian joined the Williams Companies in 1975. The 80s would see his focus lead him to Crop Production Services and finally the presidency of Agroservicios Pampeanos in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was to begin his lifetime love of travel to such countries as Africa, Thailand, Italy, Australia, The Cayman Islands, Mexico, Bangladesh, and Switzerland. Besides travel, Adrian had other passions: golf and reading. He was a long-time member of the Tulsa Country Club and had played courses around the world, including the Masters and Pebble Beach. He was the owner and operator of the Golf Cafeteria, a custom golf club sales and repair shop in Tulsa. He was a "teacher's dream" as he was never without a book in hand.
Adrian was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was always witty, fun, compassionate, and honorable to all who knew him as a friend.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his daughter, Kristen Fuller; stepdaughter, Stephanie Engnes-Lineberry; stepsons, Keith and Taylor Schick and James Silver; and his two grandchildren, Madison and Mackinzie, whom he loved and adored. We all loved "A" and can't imagine the world without him.
Adrian's life was celebrated on January 6, 2011 at The Lodge at Five Oaks, Jenks, Oklahoma where he was remembered by a large gathering of friends and family, and his service to his country saluted by a U.S. Army honor guard.

The news of Adrians death just reached me in Flagstaff, AZ, by way of a friend in Everett.
I have mentioned Adrian often over the years when I tell a story about an earthquake that hit Seattle and Everett in our high school years. When the quake started, Adrian yelled, "Oh, neat, an earthquake!" The whole class rushed to the windows to watch as the earthquake moved the shrubs outside the window, and we could see the drive-in movie screen in the distance do an up and down movement. The other classes were told to get under their desks. At my brother's school, all the kids were rushed out of the gymnasium. Because of Adrian, our class got to see a really "neat" earthquake that I certainly will never forget.
Adrian was one of the smartest kids I knew, and always very polite and nice to everyone around him. He was also one of the youngest kids in our class. He certainly grew up to be a handsome man, and it sounds like he make some great accomplishments.

I am sorry to hear of Adrians passing. It was just in the Everett Herald in Washington.I was a good friend when we were in our teens. Myself,Adrian and Ron Guiley were the 3 buddies who enlisted in the US Army together. We all attended boot camp and Advanced trainig together. We all then went to Officer Candidate Schools and graduated and all found our way to Vietnam. We kept in touch for awhile after our service years but lost touch as life moved on.His photo looks good.He was always a bit pudgy when he was young.God Bless Him.
