Carrie Woeck Obituary

March 9, 1960 - July 24, 2018 Carrie Anne Woeck of Brier, WA was born on March 9, 1960 to Marilee and George Davis. After fighting a courageous battle with Myelofibrosis, she passed away on July 24, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. A graduate of Lynnwood High School, Carrie met the love of her life, Mike Woeck at the Mill Creek Café in 1988. Mike was immediately attracted to Carrie, who then won his heart forever with her selflessness and love of life. An avid photographer, artist, and adoring wife and mother, Carrie touched those around her with her thoughtfulness and her many acts of kindness. Carrie and Mike were blessed by the birth of their son, Andrew in 1992. Andrew's eventual success in baseball and school were a tremendous source of pride, not to mention cross-country drives, most recently this past spring. Carrie is survived by her husband, Mike; son, Andrew; step-daughters, Dana Giaconi and Erin Shannon and her husband, Tom; mother, Marilee and her husband, Glen Nekota; father, George Davis and his wife, Deedee; brother, Rich; sisters, Laura andCheryl and their families; and grandchildren, Braeden, Noah, Jacob, Reece, and Skylee. Carrie is also survived by her ever loyal companion, Waggy. Carrie touched so many lives in so many ways. The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her honor to the MPN Research Foundation. While Carrie may be gone in physical presence, she will forever be with us in our memories, and in our hearts.

Carrie you are thought of often with love and laughter. There is so much I´d love to share but will have to wait. All is well here. You have a couple of new neighbors near you to visit with! Love you!

I knew Carrie before she remarried. I went out with her sister briefly. We had many common friends. She cut my hair at her house. She was talking excited about the guy she met and was going to marry. I moved away and lost touch. She was such a happy person and also cute. I just found out. Kind of in shock.

We have many fond memories of a truly wonderful lady. I will forever remember all of the games both soccer and baseball that we would sit and chat at. Her dedication and love for her family. The precious pictures she took of Andrew during those days, while also so nicely sharing pictures of his teammates & others at times. Heaven has a beautiful angel. Those of us who knew sweet, gentle, kind Carrie were truly blessed. My prayers are with the family during this very tough time, and we are so sorry for your loss. With much care- Love, The Wilkening family

I haven't seen Carrie since high school but I remember her as always being such a sweet person. I had really hoped she could attend our 40th Reunion next month. My thoughts are with her family and little dog.

Dear Carrie, thank you for the wonderful person you were who welcomed Dana and Erin into your heart and home and loved them like your own. I am forever grateful to you for that and thankful that we all had a chance to have you in our lives for as long as we did. You will be greatly missed but we will hold you in our hearts forever. Love, Kathleen
