Charles Greenhalgh Obituary
Charles William Greenhalgh
After graduating high school he joined the Army and was stationed in Ft. Lewis and Fairbanks, Alaska as a cook for the base commander. He was manager of Triple X restaurant in Everett before owning his own detail shop. He worked for Durham Transportation for 29 years driving school buses for Everett School District until his retirement in 2005.
He loved the water and boats and spent his life around Puget Sound. He was a volunteer with Sea Scouts and The Coast Guard Auxiliary and lived on his boat at The Everett Marina for 10 years.
Chuck is survived by his two beloved children, Troy (Amy) Greenhalgh, of Wenatchee, WA and Cari (Rob) Dahl, of Arlington, WA; and four beautiful grandchildren, Shelby Greenhalgh, McKenna, Eli and Greyson Dahl. He is also survived by brother, Walter Jr; ex-wife, Sharon LeClaire; and longtime friend, Mary Dahlman.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stilly Point Apartment Building, 3rd floor, 18330 Smokey Point Blvd. Arlington, WA.

To the Greenhalgh Family and Friends,
Chuck was a kind and happy man. My grandma Dorothy Yarnell passed away and I remember Chuck bringing a beautiful plant. He will be missed.

Though I haven't seen my 1st cousin Charles in many years, I can still remember our family get-togethers as a child. My best of wishes to his family and friends.

Thinking of you Cari and family. Chuck was a fun guy. He drove our bus when I was attending the Phoenix Center before transferring to EHS. He was a cool guy and listened (and helped!) our teenage issues daily. I don't know how he tolerated us but he did it with a hug and a smile. Best wishes to you all as you celebrate a wonderful man!

I spent a lot of time growing up in the Greenhalgh home & with the family, Sharon used to babysit my sister & I when we were young we were neighbors & our parents were friends. We have spent countless weekends camping together. I will never forget those days of my youth & the memories I have of Chuck & his family. I only wish that life didnt get so busy & that you didnt lose contact with all of those who hold such warm places in your heart & fill you with such happy memories. My thoughts are prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I am very sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to Chuckie's family. My thoughts and prayers are with
you. He will truly be missed. I will really miss the great sense of humor he had. Also, I had a wonderful time sharing stories with him of our girls growing up. He was a valued employee and a great bus driver.

I met Chuck as a 14 year old, Jr. High student, in 1968. I was lucky enough to be given a chance to work at the Triple XXX where Chuck was the manager. It quickly became known that Chuck's shifts, were the best times to work. We worked hard, but had so much fun. Chuck treated us as friends, not just employee's. He often went out of his way to give me a ride home after a Friday night shift that ended at 1:00a.m. Thanks Chuck! I still remember those times fondly and I believe you had a strong, positive influnce on my life.
