Gailene Sarmir Obituary
Gailene Hale Johnson Sarmir
She was born December 29, 1944 in San Diego, CA.
She was adopted by Samuel and Jessica Nadine Hale and grew up in Granite Falls, WA. She attended Granite Falls Grade School, Everett High School and Everett Community College. Her working career was spent at Scott Paper Company and Fluke among others, but her great joy was her garden, particularly her rose garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Jessica Nadine Hale.
She leaves behind her husband, Jack Sarmir; sons, Larry Johnson (Granite Falls) and Sam Johnson (Everett); brothers, Jim Hale (Lynnwood), Mike Hale (Taunton, MA) and Butch Deebach (Seattle); sister, Martha Caissie (East Falmouth, MA); and grandsons, Michael Johnson and Josh Niseman.
Memory of life at 2 p.m., April 10, 2011 at Granite Falls Eagles on North Granite Ave.

JACK, I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I WASN'T ABLE TO ATTEND THE SERVICE FOR GAILENE AND TALK WITH YOU. FOR ALL THE YEARS I'VE KNOWN YOU, TRAVELED WITH YOU TO CONVENTIONS ECT. Although I did not know her personally I do know her son Larry. He is a fine young man with talent and ambition in and for life. She raised him good to be a loving and caring person for those around him. I am sure She will be missed and will always be in Larry and Michael's hearts as well as the rest of their family and friends. God has reclaimed another Angel!

Gailene's Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother,wife, and my dearest friend. I have so many good memories of her. I am really going to miss talking to her at least once a week and getting together in Dec. to make our Xmas tea cakes and cranberry bread. God Bless all the family. Dennis and Mary Christofferson.

Jack, I am so sorry to hear about Gailene. My heart is aching for you. I know that my mom (Helen Patricelli) sure had some fun having Gailene drive her around. I was glad that she was able to do that for my mom, I could not be up there all the time. She will be missed. R.I.P. And God Bless

We were so sorry to hear about Gailene. She was such a good friend to Helen. I have many wonderful memories of Gailene and Helen, because of Gailene, Helen was able to go places and see people she may not have had the opportunity to see or visit. On one occasion Gailene brought my mother in-law (Helen) out to Red Bridge Camp ground where we were camping and we all had dinner and smores by the fire. She was a part of our family, we will miss her.

To my dear cousins, Greg and I are so very so for the loss of your Mom. I will always remember my last conversation with your Mom a fews years back when she told me that she was so happy that I was continuing Grandma's tradition of celebrating the holdidays, and keeping our family together, which of course included her boys. I couldn't receive a better compliment, than being compared to our Beloved Grandma Flo!!. May your memories and times spent with your Mom, over shadow the loss and grief your experiencing now. My God Bless you and guide you through this difficult time. We Love You, Greg, Jeanne, Jace, and Jeff, Bauer! We will be with you to celebrate Gailene's life with you!

To my cousins, Larry & Sam - I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and also how tragic it was. I have many memories of Gailene, but one she would never let me forget was our adventure when we went picking corn, you know, like berry picking, but bigger. Tim also sends his sympathy.
