I had many employers throughout my work-
ing years, but none the likes of Jerry
Shannon! How I loved seeing that smile each morning and hearing that magical laugh often during the day. He taught me a great deal and not just about the mortgage industry - he taught me about love especially as he struggled with the idea that, yes, indeed, he was truly in love with Sharon! Ha - I could have told him that, but I just listened. He was by far one of the dearest people to come into my life and my husband and sons loved him too. I didn't think it would be this difficult to put Jerry into words, my words - something I've never been accused of having a shortage of - yet, this is hard! I miss him and I hurt for all who knew him, particularly Sharon and Jeff. I just wanted anyone who reads this to know what an impact this wonderful man and friend had on my life. Me, a lowly secretary...imagine that! We will meet again; meanwhile my prayers are with Jerry's family and friends. God bless.

I remember the many fun-filled family gatherings right up until all our children were grown and left home.

Rest in peace. Your "cousin" Sue

Dearest Shannons: I remember your dad as a funny, quick, twinkly, generous man - patient and kind, madly in love with each one of you. His picture says it all, really. Bless you all as you enter this very odd phase in life of being without a parent. You are all strong, lovely people - I hold you in my heart.

Our dearest friend Jerry will always be remembered and missed. We always shared a breakfast together at the Pancake Restaurant or under Arnies on the Marina. We never solved world problems and just shared our everyday lives with each other.
We always call him "Jer-bear" and Sher-bear too!
Jerry is shining his glowing light upon all of us, and will, forever. We truly regret that we are not with all of you at this time and .....God Bless Sharon and family, please know that our deepest, heartfelt feelings and love, are always with you.
