We were truly saddened to hear of the passing of Helen. We first met her at the wedding of our oldest son, Jerry, and Traci. She was a sweet, gentle, always smiling lady and did not change a bit up to the last time we visited at the Eagle Scout ceremony for Dylan, our shared Grandson. Dylan is staying with us now while going to school at Bellevue College and he also is greatly saddened by the loss of his Grandmother. He and his siblings stayed often at Helen's home and we have heard many fond memories of those times. We have often marveled at how well she has done in raising 5 girls as a widow. Raising 5 children is a difficult task under any circumstance but she really excelled and also remained calm and composed. We have always been warmly welcomed by all of her girls, Peggy, Terri, Tami and Kelli and we would like to extend our condolences to them. And, particularly, Ed and Terri who have helped out so much with our Grandchildren, Dylan, Diedre and Logan. Thank you!
And finally to Traci, our sincere and heart-felt sorrow is shared with you. We are well aware of how much your Mother meant to you and we know how much you will miss her. Our experience is that as time goes by you think of your loved one fondly and know that you will always love them.
Our love to you all.

I think I have almost allways referrd to my mother in-law as grandma just as most people did. She was kind to me from the first time I met her till the last time I talked to her. I will miss the fiestiness that she had. Missed will be good natured teasing which sometimes you'd have to repeat 2 or 3 times because she did'nt hear you the first time. Grandma,I love you and I will miss you.

To the Thomas Girls,
Your Mom has taken the next step of her journey and is now reunited with your Dad and Steven. I know she leaves this world very proud of the girls she left behind. She has always been a very strong woman and I hope you find some of her strength to help you through this sorrowful time. Peggy, I agree with you. Helen was always the family rock. I think your sister Tami has all the makings of being just like her. As young girls we always called her Mom!
My Memories of Helen always have her in her chair directing whatever needed to be directed :) And her laugh…it’s funny after all these years I still remember her laugh. And to this day I have never seen anyone make a prettier gingerbread house than your Mom.
She was a very special person and I hope you girls find peace and comfort knowing she is in a better place.
Peace be with you,
Dana

I have so many good things to say about Helen.Lots of memories.. She was like my second Mom through High School. She was a very kind and loving person. I will always remember when I would walk through the door and she would be sitting in her kitchen chair next to the phone(652-7883)with a really thick book she was reading. She was very loved by her family.. My thoughts are with all of you. Deanna Woolard

Mom, I will miss you so much. Ninoazul and Jack still go into your room to look for you. Eli has asked about you. I told him you live in Heaven now, he seemed to be ok with that, as for the rest of us in this house, there is an emptiness hanging about. I love you Mom. Your daughter TamiLou
