Mrs. Burgess, Jan and Family,
Mrs. Burgess, I have never met your daughter Jan, yet, she is MY best friend since May 2004. As I read comments from people/friends, I can see how I got so lucky to have her as my friend. As Jan's Mom, be proud.
To you and your Family, I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband and father.
Luv U, Jan. Thank U for U.

If God would have put more Jack Burgess's on Earth all the world conflicts would disappear. Those who spoke at the service said it perfectly. Jack truly did have an interested in how each of us was doing and if we needed any help. He will truly be missed.

Mary Elaine,
So sorry to hear about your loss of Jack. I was fortunate to get to know you two through your mother. Would attend his service, but am getting over the flu. My sincere sympathy and condolences.

I did meet Jack, but did know him well. But I do know his daughter Jan. She has been my neighbor for over 21 years, and we have been through a lot together. To have raised such a wonderful daughter, he must have been a great man.

We'll always remember you with fondness. The smiles and laughter at Moon on A's monthly breakfast and on our many drives as one of our club leaders. You will be missed but not forgotten.
