I wrote a poem yesterday that discribes my friend Linda.
WATCHMEN
Two little watchmen standing on the wall; one said this and one said that, Jesus heard it and that's a fact. Not a word dropped to the ground, Neither this nor that. The times dark, the harvest white, The watchmen Travailed through out the night. Jesus warned time is short These wayward ones are precious to this I exhort. So stand alert you watchmen on the wall And listen carefully to your call, You are my soldiers of the cross; Therefore I promise you not one will be lost. In memory of Linda from her friend Joni

Dear Bob, Ryan, and Family, Needless to say, my family was SHOCKED to hear about Linda. At least we KNOW where she is, thank the Lord. And she is smiling with no more earthly tears or heartaches. Linda was a bright light to everyone she'd meet. She has prayed for me so many times and, even when I hadn't seen her for a long time, I knew she was ALWAYS there for me in times of need. There will be an empty place in our hearts for her, but she is HOME now in the arms of our heavenly Father! I just want her family to know that she was a wonderful Christian role model for me and my family. My daughters,Jill and Jacque, and I miss her and will be praying for God's perfect peace in your hearts to sustain you at this difficult time. Love in Christ.....Donna (Rogers) Mazar

Linda My faithful friend. I was her hair dresser for many years. I now morn the loss of my friend. She always stopped in our conversarions to pray for what ever situatuin that needed prayer. Her devotion to Christ is one that we all should have. We walked and talked and dreamed and painted and shared our hearts for so very long. Bob and Ryan, I pray that you remember the love and devotion she had for you. God is with you and always will be. With out Christ we are nothing.

Linda's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting Linda in person, but she reached out to encourage me at a very painful point in my life. Three years ago when my son Nolan (a co-worker of Ryan's) died, Linda wrote me a letter and sent me a book, "Within Heaven's Gates". I appreciated her kindness in reaching out to a fellow bereaved mom, and sent her my thanks. What a caring, thoughtful woman...and what a reunion it must have been when she entered Heaven's gates! May the Lord bless you and keep you, and bring you comfort in the midst of your sorrow.

Dearest Linda,
I will never forget all of the wonderful things you have done for my family and I. You were one of my only friends that I could turn to when I needed someone in hard times. I too know that you are up there smiling at us all right now, holding Nathan close. We all love you Linda. Bless you for everything you have done for me. Your presence will be greatly missed, as will that wonderful smile. God bless you.

I enjoyed playing pickleball with Linda and her family. She and her family meant a great deal to the pickleball "family" at 24 Hour Fitness. Many years ago, Linda painted a picture of me, which is one of my mother's prized possession. It hangs in a place of honor in her front room.

Linda's Family,
A true friend is hard to come by. During the 22 years that Linda and I have been friends we shared many happy and sometime sad times. We were best friends and confided our secret hopes and dreams. I told her how proud I was of her to follow her dream and go to Paris. I talked with her just a week ago today. I told her I loved her and she said she loved me too. I miss Linda so much. All the things Linda helped me with will never be forgotten. I remember our trip to the Oregon coast. Bob drove us in my motorhome and we had the best time with our kids. Linda touched so many people and my family will never forget her. I know we all our sad to never be able to call her up or just get together. I am thinking about her and Nathan together again happy and whole. We will see them again someday when our journey is over. Till we meet again. God bless you all. -

I was completely shocked and saddened to learn of Linda's passing. She was always a joy to be around; one of the sweetest ladies I ever met. I always looked forward to the days that her and her son Ryan would walk in to the health club to play pickleball. (I don't know if they were the most talented team when they paired up; but they were, by far, the tallest!) We always shared alot of laughs on the courts. I'll surely miss that.
As sad as it must be for the loved ones that Linda has left behind; surely you must know that at this point in time, she just HAS to be grinning ear to ear. For she is now in the comfort of Heaven; holding the hand of her first-born son.
God Bless You Linda. I'm proud to have known you.
