Marilyn Grable Obituary

Marilyn Grable

On Monday, May 17, 2010, at 7:56 p.m., our beautiful, loving Mother finished her journey here on earth to begin a new one in Heaven. Marilyn was born June 6, 1929 in Everett, Wa, where she grew up and raised her family.
She worked for Everett's Providence Hospital for 20+ years. She worked hard and loved harder! She was a role model, mentor and friend to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was so very proud of each and everyone of them.
She leaves her children, Dolly Van Trojan (Don), Sandra Grable, Howard Grable (Peggy) and Toni Simpson. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, whom she adored. "Gramma Sweetie Pie" will live on in our hearts forever. We love you "Sweetie Pie".
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Providence North Snohomish County Hospice for their loving care of Marilyn during her short illness; thank you Maranda Parson...you are all Angels! And thank you to her loving friend and "greatest neighbor", Dorothy Butner.
A private family celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of cards or flowers, please donate to Providence Snohomish County Hospice.

Your mom, my mom, and all of us kids. I'll never forget Christmas Eves, 4th of July picnics and camping trips. We had so much fun together. How'd they ever put up with all of us?

I spoke with your mom recently and was so sad to hear that she'd become ill. She was so great, and had such a huge heart. She was always one of my favorite people.

I do believe that there are penny machines in heaven... and I bet they always pay off.

Take care, we love you all.

I am very sorry to hear of Marilyns passing. She was the sister of my friend Franci. She also babysat my son Mike.

I knew the Miller family when I we were all young: Betty, "Pogie" Howdy, Franci, Marilyn, Donna Marie, and Patty.

Marilyn was such a beautiful person!

Sincerely,
Mickey (Moe) Cain
