Maynard Haaland Obituary
Rev. Maynard Lowell Haaland
He leaves behind his brother, Richard (Elsie) Haaland of Rathdrum, ID; his sisters, Doris Howard, of Woodinville, WA and Rose Hunter, of Marysville, WA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Macel Haaland; brothers, Edward and Willard Haaland; sister, Esther McQuatters; his first wife of 42 years, Frances; and his second wife of 14 years, Nell.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., March 25 at Floral Hills cemetery in Lynnwood, WA and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 March 26 at New Life Church, 6830 Highland Dr. Everett, WA.

I too, had the priviledge of being part of team Maynard for about two years when I was honored to pick Maynard up and take him to church once a month. This was a special time in my life and will always cherish the time I got to spend with him. He truly was a man of God and I will always remember his mantra "I'm praying for you." Pastor Maynard was my friend. We knew him for years but especially I got to know him in the last years of his life. Even when he wasn't able to get around he was always a man full of faith and love and prayed for all of us. He always cared for others.
I loved bringing the children to see him and he would pray for them. Two of the children made 5 big poster pictures about God and Maynard picked 2 to be put on his wall.
We had some laughs also when I brought my "clown toys" to show him. He he was more than Pastor Maynard to me, he became my friend and we celebrated our love for Jesus together. He did this with many who came to see him.
I am so happy for Maynard because he's with his Lord and we'll get to be with him and so many others who love Jesus forever.
Our hearts are thinking of you dear family who will miss him also so very much but we know where he is and he's never been happier than he is right now.

He was a very good man. I really miss him he was my great uncle and I can remember once and a while after church me and my granmda would go visit him and of course he was always joyful. I'm sad I couldn't say my goodbyes but I will be attendnig his funeral.

I knew Pastor Haaland when he pastored the small Foursquare church in downtown Everett--before Colby and now Highland Dr. Have always had tremendous respect for him and now he is living out the dream of every believer--sitting at the feet of Jesus and seeing Him in all His glory. What a hope! What a reward!

He really left a huge legacy behind...such a powerful Prayer Warrior and visionary. I am also so thankful for knowing him and I am happy he doesnt have to suffer anymore
