Of of the men I knew in my life he was the best man.

He was the best man I ever. I was a bad kid and he never gave up on me and help me be a good man. God bless him.

I too, had the priviledge of being part of team Maynard for about two years when I was honored to pick Maynard up and take him to church once a month. This was a special time in my life and will always cherish the time I got to spend with him. He truly was a man of God and I will always remember his mantra "I'm praying for you." Pastor Maynard was my friend. We knew him for years but especially I got to know him in the last years of his life. Even when he wasn't able to get around he was always a man full of faith and love and prayed for all of us. He always cared for others.

I loved bringing the children to see him and he would pray for them. Two of the children made 5 big poster pictures about God and Maynard picked 2 to be put on his wall.

So sorry for your families loss.

He was a very good man. I really miss him he was my great uncle and I can remember once and a while after church me and my granmda would go visit him and of course he was always joyful. I'm sad I couldn't say my goodbyes but I will be attendnig his funeral.
