Orville Tillman Anderson
Feb. 11, 1926 - Apr. 22, 2011

Beloved husband and father Orville Tillman Anderson, a long-time resident of Edmonds, WA, passed away on April 22, 2011 at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds in the company of family.
Born on February 11, 1926 in Aberdeen, WA to parents Hannah and Tillman Anderson, Orville graduated from Quillayute High School in 1944 and then from Washington State University in Pullman.
Orville married Arlene Hosack in 1952 and, after starting a career with the Boeing Company, they eventually settled in Edmonds. Orville worked for the Boeing Company for 32 years, retiring in 1987.
Orville loved his family, boating and, after retirement, travel within the United States. He was a long-time member of the Lake City Elks Club and the Queen City Yacht Club in Seattle. He was a loving, compassionate man who was dedicated to his career, to his children and to his wife, Arlene, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Orville is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Arlene Anderson; daughter, Deborah Nicholson of Spokane; sons, Douglas Anderson of Monroe and Don Anderson of Bothell; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, Reagan and Colton.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Faith Community Church located at 10220 238th Street SW, Edmonds, WA 98020 with a reception immediately following.
