He will be missed. What a gift he had from what I read and saw on facebook with his music, and what a Wonderful family he created that loved him greatly. That is a great rememberance to him right there! Went to high school with him and he was quiet, soft spoken and so respectful. My prayers and condolences to the family as I know you miss him greatly....so will we of the class of 1967.

My condolences to Richards Family. He sounded like a contented man. I am a classmate of Richard's and remember him as being a nice guy, but shy and quiet. Rest in Peace Richard. Marion Carter Gehrman.

Went to high school with Richard. Though he was a quiet person, he was always very sincere and kind. He is gone way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light.
Richard and I worked together for over 20 years at Jeld-Wen of Everett. We did not see much of each other outside of work but during that 20 years I got to know him well.He was intelligent, dependable,a skilled mechanic, great conversationalist, generous of his time (he would haul things for me with his truck and give me rides while my car was being serviced),he had a great sense of humor,and was the best darn forklift driver I ever saw. Most of all he was my friend. The last time I saw him was after we left Jeld-Wen and I was going to school. See you again this Saturday old friend.

So saddened by the news. I have so many fond memories of Darcy and I riding the train that he built in the backyard! May god wrap his loving arms around your family and give you strength and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
