Steven was literally my life saver! He insisted I attend the bible studies with Everett at their lovely home overlooking the Olympic Mountains. And I did... but one night, as I was working over time for Seafirst Bank, downtown, I NEARLY missed the study. That was the night I spoke in tongues for the first time and accepted my Lord and Savior which changed my life, Dan's life, our children, Sara and Jonathan's lives, since "going to church" was simply NOT enough. Jesus was now in my heart and Dan's heart and our lives were always better because of Steve and Sandy. I hope Sandy knows how much we love her and miss her and Nancy. Never will know what Nancy told Sandy, but I was just emailing Nancy to meet us to fish in Eastern Wa... never knew she lost her dear husband. Dan and I were innocent in not knowing what happened. . Love and God bless... Kathryn and Dan, living on Whidbey Island, 315 778 1020 5011 Eagle Ridge Drive, Freeland, Wa..

Auntie Sandy: If it had not been for Uncle Steve, not giving up on me, I would never have been born again. I remember so well that evening when I was working for Seafirst, in the Exchange Building, overlooking beautiful Puget Sound. But I knew the bible study in your family room at your beautiful home overlooking Puget Sound and just 2 doors down from me was starting. I had to get there!
Everett was patient. We sang, "Know ye not, Know ye not, Know ye not ...ye are the temple, Ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost." And at that moment, I spoke in tongues, and received the Lord. It was an amazing experience and only due to Uncle Steve and Auntie Sandy, who never gave up on me!
Love and God Bless
I will miss your hot coffee, your invite for me to play your organ, and your huge hugs!
