Wanita Schulze Obituary

Wanita Mariette Schulze

Wanita Mariette Schulze, born September 30, 1925, died peacefully January 24, 2011. I think she would say "It is well with my soul". The poem entitled "I am Free", by Linda Jo Jackson was found in her bible the day after she passed. At the top she had written "to my kids".
She was born in Hibbing, Minnesota, and spent most of her life in that state. She retired from International Paper Company. She enjoyed volunteering for many years at the Stilly Thrift Store in Smokey Point, WA.
She has many friends out in her home state (Best Friend, Karen Lundgren) along with precious family.
Her siblings, Carmen Carlson, Hazel Thomsen and Edwin Berlien preceded her in death.
She is survived by Cecil Berlien, of Florida. In 1987 she moved to WA State where her three daughters still live with their families. Judith Ann Clendenen (Michael), Linda Bickford (Joel), Bobbie Krieger (Ivan her dog). Her son, Roger Brashears (Laura), lives here too.
She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. One grandchild said "she brought color to my life". She was strong in love and gentle in spirit. Just four months ago she took a ride on the back of a Harley!
We are thankful for her zest for life. Te'a, her kitty of over ten years, was a precious part of her life.
Until we meet again…you are loved, you will be missed.
