With September here tomorrownot a month I look forward to. Not a day goes by that it gets any easier. I think of you and want to call and ask you something or text you or just have fun & smile. I miss you by my side at SVDP. You will always be my big brother, just not how I want it to be anymore. I wanted something of yours to hang onto. A T-shirt to where to bed. Something that smelled like yousomething I babe a memory of you having. We were together since my birth and you were 9. You took me everywhere. You helped me when no one else could or would. Here I am again, with no help, look for the helpers, Mr. Rogers used to say. He is no longer by my sideMiss you my partner in crime

I cant believe its been a year without you dad... I know you are with me every day, but that certainly doesnt make it easier. I know you see Chase, growing so fast, learning so much, but that doesnt mean I wouldnt give anything to see you play with him one more time. Your 1 st birthday, is coming up next week, 9/27/18. It will be hard. Then 11/25/18, will be even harder. I waited to write,
It has been so difficult losing my big brother. I would go to you or dad for advice. We fought like hell growing up, but grew so close. I have so many happy memories of you! Thank you for being the best brother, when I was having a hard time. You helped me up & got me going. I need that now more than ever. Everyone misses you so much. I was told losing you will take years to get over, I am only in the beginning of grieving & missing you. What happened was for the best, for you. That matters more than anything. But I never really got
to say goodbye. Goodbye, till we meet again, I will always hold you in my heart & take you with me as I move forward a step at a time. I miss you & love you so much! Just so you know I havent lost my touch, do lions fly in heaven?

My sincere sympathies to all of Mike's family members, co-workers and friends. I know he was such a kind and generous soul who did so much for so many and he will be greatly missed! I will always remember him as the friendly cook at Bishop Connolly High School and, more recently, as the manager of the St. Vincent de Paul Stores. His charitable work will not be forgotten and I know he will be rewarded for everything he did for others. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Not a day will go by without you by side. You were an amazing man who touched so many people. The values you bestowed in me will carry on forever. I pray that I can be the father to my son that you were to me. You had my back through everything, thick and thin, and nothing made me feel better than hearing you say how proud you were of me!
