Francisco M. Silva

Francisco M. Silva 82 of East Main Road, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. he was the husband of Frances E. (LeBlanc) Silva. They were married for 64 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Perreira) Silva. He was an engineer for Raytheon for 34 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Tiverton and a volunteer for the Little Compton Fire Dept. Besides his wife, he leaves 5 daughters: Cindy Silva of Bristol, Deborah Iamarone and Denise Castro both of Fall River, Elaine Silva of Bristol and Karen Prezalar of Fall River. He was the brother of Alice Santos of Tiverton and the late Manuel, Lewis, John, Joseph and Antone Silva, Irene Gergora and Sylvania, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 9:30 am from the Fern Acres Funeral Home, 72 Willow Avenue, Little Compton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, on the Commons. Burial will be in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 4 to 7 pm.
