Mabel McCauley, 102, of Sarasota, formerly of Rockland County, N.Y. died May 11, 2011.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. June 1, 2011 at The Pines of Sarasota. Palms Robarts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Harriet Loftus of Sarasota; one grandson,
Michael Yacovone; three great granddaughters, Alyse, Loren and Ashley and three nieces.

Dear Harriet
By now Mabel is looking down on us and smiling. She is whole, happy & healthy again and in God's eternal loving care. Thank you for the privelege of having her close to me... it was my joy and pleasure to know her and be one of her caretakers... She was a dear and precious lady and I'll always remember her.

My Grandmother was not only my grandmother but my friend. I could always talk to her about anything, and she always would help with her words of wisdom I will always Miss you Nanny.

Hi Mabel, I want you to know that you have been my very best friend at the Pines. When I first sat down in the dining room on the first floor, 3 years ago, I discovered that you and I had the same sense of humor, Mabel you are the best human being I ever knew. Love ya, Virginia and Francis
