Denise Powers Obituary
May 8, 1943 - May 14, 2011
Denise Eleanor Powers of Sarasota, Fla. died on May 14, 2011 surrounded by her family.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 5394 Midnight Pass Road, Siesta Key. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Sarasota National V.A. Cemetery.
Denise was born in Yonkers, N.Y. on May 8, 1943. Denise was the beloved daughter of Frank and Eleanor Crowley. Denise worked for many years as a Corporate Secretary in N.Y. She relocated to Sarasota in 1994 where she obtained her LPN license.
Denise, a loving and supportive Mother and Grandmother was a truly special friend to her family and everyone she met. She dedicated her life to loving and raising her family, especially her five grandchildren.
Denise is survived by her husband Patrick, three children, Sean, Kim and Dawn, all of Sarasota, two brothers, Frank and Bill, five wonderful grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She will forever be missed and carried in our hearts. May she rest in peace.

I just want to express my sincere sympathy to the family of Denise Powers.
I delivered communion to her on Sunday and I enjoy having conversations with her.
She slways lovingly spoke of her family and I loved her positive attitute.
