Anthony Moran Obituary

Anthony James Moran of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born March 12, 1934 in Trenton, NJ to Anthony James Moran, Sr., and Mary Beatrice Burns Moran. Anthony attended St. Francis of Assisi and Trenton Catholic High School. He graduated from Manhattan College in 1955. Anthony retired from the State of New Jersey, Division of Taxation in 1993. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Ann Marie Dooley Moran, and is survived by their three children, Charles, Christopher, Kellie and their granddaughter, Jennifer Moran. He also leaves two sisters, Mary and Patricia, along with many nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be planned by the family.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
