Delbert B. Everett, 75, of Venice, formerly of Chicago, died May 26, 2011.
Services by Ewing Funeral Home.
Survivors include his beloved wife Barbara.
He was loving father to Cheryl A. Everett of Venice and Joy L. Lowe and husband Lum of Punta Gorda. Other survivors include adoring granddaughters Samatha J. Everett of Venice, Sonya Shatney of Port Charlotte, brother Kregg Bailey and wife Gail of South Bend, Ind., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Del and his wife of 59 years started up a family pool business. Del will be missed by business associates who have become friends throughout the years, and family alike.
Besides his commitment to his business and customers, Del enjoyed driving his motorhome to places near and far, horses, dogs and new friends always around the bend.
A celebration of life service will be at Calvary Bible Church of Venice at 11 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations please to Calvary Bible Church.
