Frank H. Schertle, 93, of Sarasota died Dec. 12, 2011.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Marjorie; a daughter, Arlene: a son, David; and one grandchild.
Frank died at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He retired to Sarasota 31 years ago from Pittsburgh.
Frank was District Manager with the F. W. Woolworth Co; secretary of Kiwanis Club of South Sarasota; Elder of Pine Shores Presbyterian; Gold Card member of SCORE and member of MTOS (Manatee Theatre Pipe Organ Society).
