Jan. 8, 1963 - Sept. 25, 2011
John D Beachy, 48, of Sarasota, formerly of Greentown, Ind. died Sept. 25, 2011.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main, Greentown, Ind. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hasler & Stout Funeral home.
Survivors include his mother, Ada A. Beachy - Hooley and her husband Maurice of Lagrange, Ind.; daughters, Allegra and Elise Beachy of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Daryl (Linda) Beachy of Kokomo, Gregory (Billie) Beachy of Louisville, Ky., Douglas (Laura) Beachy of Greentown and Timothy (Sharryvon) Beachy.

I am a psychotherapist. That´s how I met John at Jewish family children services, as we were both in our internship. We both were from Indiana, and we both were Christians. We often talked about our Christianity, And our faith. It was these things that brought our friendship together, and that I got to know him as a really good person, and saw him as a great future psychotherapist. he was full of life, and great with kids! I considered it to be an honor to know him for the short period of two years at Jewish family. He was a kind man, and often talked about his family, and his little girls.
My heart goes out to his family on this day and remembering John.

Dearest John - you will be so sorely missed. There were many days I was able to get through because of your support! We will all miss your kind and gentle spirit, your faith, your friendship, your smile. Rest in Peace.
My heart, thoughts and prayers are with Allegra and Elise (your Dad told me all about you and was so very proud of you!) and to the rest of John's family.
