June 19, 1934 - May 13, 2011

Judith James "Judy" Russell, 76, of Venice, formerly of Champaign, Ill. died May 13, 2011.
Services will be at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, John; daughters Mary Brenchley of Tampa, and Lynn Stenger of Bartow; son Jim of Columbia, S.C., eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren;
son-in-laws Mark Brenchley and Robert Stenger.
Judy was born in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of T. Melville James and Ellen Yohe James. She grew up and was educated in Decatur, Ill. and attended the University of Illinois where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Judy lived in Champaign, Ill. from 1955 to 1996 where she raised three children, worked in retailing and was active in the Junior League and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association. She and her husband John retired to Florida in 1996. Judy was a wonderful wife and mother and an avid dog lover,
