Mabel Freeman, 84, of Sarasota, formerly of Vernon, died June3, 2011.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sarasota. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Galilee Cemetery. Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include sons, Benjamin A. Brown of Sarasota and Melvin; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ben, my prayers goes out to you and your family. God loved her most. She was a beautiful flower, loved by many. Your mom blessed and cared for lot of people. Smile and be encouraged knowing that she is in a better place. May God continue strengthening you during this difficult time.

To: Ben my classmate and cousin you and your entire family have my deepest sympathy and love . You have many memories and my prayer is that your memories will help to sustain you during this difficult time.

Ben - Sister Freeman created a milestone of memories during her lifetime, especially those at New Bethel where we all Loved her. Her Kids as she Lovingly called them will surely miss her presence! Our prayers are with you, Lil' Ben and your Family.
