Norma Jo (Statton) Klinger, formerly of Monticello and Fort Wayne, IN, died Dec. 28, 2016.
Jo graduated from Butler University and received her Masters from Saint Frances College in Fort Wayne. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She was a teacher for several years in the Fort Wayne area.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charles; daughters Katherine Rouleau of Fayetteville, NC and Jacqueline Sowatsky of Lancaster, PA; sons James Klinger of Arlington, TX and Douglas Klinger of San Antonio, TX; and five grandchildren.
She and Charles moved to the Plantation Golf & Country Club in 1993.
There will be no local services. A private family service will be held at a later date. It is suggested that any memorial be made to the Plantation Community Foundation or TideWell Hospice.
