Rusty Kingeter, 79, of Sarasota, FL, died on July 9, 2012. Funeral arrangements by: National Cremation and Burial Society.
Services will be private. He is survived by his wife, Janet; son, John of St. Augustine; daughter, Kelley McClane of Sarasota and grandsons, Cole and Kent McClane. Rusty retired from the Army after serving 20 years and then retired from the Post Office after 22 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, Sarasota.

Dear Kelley,

So sorry to read about your father. Many years ago he put together some miniature furniture for a dollhouse I had. I remember many good times with you and Jenny at our house.

The members of Military Marksmanship Association mourn the passing of SFC John "Rusty" Kingeter. Those members who served with him in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit at Fort Benning, Georgia, have fond memories of him. The marksmanship community, the U.S. Army, and our country have lost an outstanding soldier and true friend.
