Charles Biter Obituary

Biter, Charles R. "Charlie"

Sep. 11, 1941 - Jun. 22, 2014

Charlie Biter passed away on June 22, 2014 in Sarasota, FL after a long decline of his general health. He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. He attended Trenton Catholic High School and went on to graduate from Tri-State University in Angola, IN with a BS degree in Business Administration. After graduation he worked a number of years in his family's trucking business, Biter Freight System, and other related family businesses. He eventually took a senior position with a major transportation software company. The last ten years of his career was as a Regional Rail Director for FedEx in Akron, OH.

Charlie was a special person that had, in his own way, touched the lives of so many people in such positive ways. God blessed him by taking him home and God blessed us all for the opportunity to know and love him. He is survived by two sisters, Louise Fetzer of Augusta, NJ and Mary Parrish of Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers, Rubert Biter of Windsor Locks CT and Richard Biter of Sarasota, FL. He will be interred at St. Mary's cemetery in Hamilton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that any offer of remembrance be donated in Charlie's name to Tidewell Hospice, Philanthropy Department, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238. http://tidewellhospice.org/docs/donors_docs/2013.06_FD_DonationForm.pdf
