Linda was a lovely person, a lady, who inspired respect and admiration. She is missed. Her Christmas card was always the first we received and it was then that I knew mine needed to be written. Linda supported the arts and her husband's fascination with toy trains.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was such a wonderful lady..full of life, always smiling (especially after she met Dick) and always helpful to the community! The last time I saw her she was with Dick and friends at the Little Traverse resturant and we ran into them....she and I talked as she was worried about Dick's health and so it is even sadder to me that she has left us at such a young age. Rest in peace Linda...and please know that I am thinking of you Dick and your family. Mary Weed

We were so saddened to learn that Linda had passed away. She was so much a vivid and personable woman that it doesn't seem she is gone at this age. Although our contacts were few, the times we were together were very pleasurable. Our sincere sympathy goes to the entire family, and especially to Richard. You have wonderful memories to see you through your grief.

Dear Family Members - I was stunned to read of Linda's passing in the Detroit papers today. The Petersons lived a few streets over from us in the subdivision. While I was in school with Susie, I remember Linda then and into her adult years as a smiling, beautiful, charming individual. I think the last time I saw her was at the Club. She was as nice and beautiful as ever, and she never passed up an opportunity to speak to my mother Bunny. Mom was very fond of her and always mentioned when she saw Linda (and Dick). I extend my sincerest and deepest sympathies to Dick, Susie, and all the family members. May God envelop you all in His loving embrace and may you always remember her wonderful legacy and all that she gave to you and the Detroit/Michigan community.

Linda and I became friends in junior high school. Over time five "girls" shared pajama parties, double dates, proms, college events and later travel, as mature women. The same five were to meet next spring. Our adventure will be shadowed by this loss. My husband, Ed, and I send condolences to Dick and his family and to Linda's daughters and sister.

Where there is sadness, love plants a garden of memories. May the memories of Linda live forever in your hearts to give you strength. Being able to share our memories of our Millrace Court picnics, U of M football games and other events were very special times and will never be forgotten. Linda and Dick were wonderful neighbors and her bubbling presence will be missed. We will always continue to keep Dick and family in our thoughts and prayers.
