Barbara Ann Bigelow

1952 - 2017

Barbara Ann Bigelow, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in her Jonesville home surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 12, 1952 to Lewis Morris and Edna (Cousino), Barbara charmed and befriended everyone who knew her. She loved nothing more than her friends and family, to whom she devoted her life and heart, and who likewise adored and treasured her wit and beautiful soul. An independent and energetic woman in her youth, Barbara always enjoyed telling her many stories to her children and grandchildren who cherished spending time with her and making her crafts and treasures. Barbara loved playing Bingo and enjoyed making late-night excursions to the casino with her daughters.

Barbara has been reunited with her mother and father, a sister, and three brothers. Barbara is survived by two sisters, Sandra (Bob) Buelow, and Cathy (Bill) Rubin; two brothers, Thomas (Karen) Morris, and Robert Morris; and four children, Tanya (Martin) Cox, Gordon (Erin) Bigelow Jr., Teeka (Todd) Crider, and Tabatha Bigelow (Kevin Conant). She is also survived by her 13 very beloved grandchildren; Kayla, Hayli, Brandon, Victoria, Seth, Dakota, Nickolas, Austin, Ashlee, Amber, Marisa, Kaleb, Lola; and two great-grandchildren, Haidin and Zanderik.

A memorial visitation for Barbara Bigelow will take place from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, January 21, at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville. Family interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville at a later date.
