Bridger Maxum H. Ferguson

2000 - 2010

MENDON - Bridger Maxum H. Ferguson was born June 23, 2000, in Logan, Utah. He passed away on Dec. 18, 2010, at Primary Children's Hospital.
Bridger grew up in Mendon, Utah, with his parents, Jace and Teri Ferguson, three brothers, Gaje, 15 years, Colten, 13 years and M'Gwire, 7 years, along with his five sisters, Ashlyn, 18 years, Kelsi, 17 years, Madison, 11 years, Savanah, 9 years, and Marisa, 6 years.
Out of all his siblings, Bridger managed to stand out as the "exclamation point" in the family. No matter what Bridger did, he did it with passion and great enthusiasm.
Bridger loved playing football and basketball and was recruited for many super league teams in both football and basketball.
He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping and especially hunting with his dad and brothers.
Bridger's appetite for knowledge was endless and he wore his siblings and parents out with his nonstop questions and opinions about life and beyond. In school he was an excellent student and excelled in all areas of school, being in accelerated reading and math classes. He always took on the roll of "Sergeant - General" and had to be in charge at all times. It was not uncommon during half time of many of his football games, to be seen talking to his coach, one on one, and the coach was listening and Bridger was instructing. This was Bridger's nature in all that he did.
Bridger was very compassionate with his siblings and was always concerned about their welfare and happiness. He was often found helping one of them go to Primary when they didn't want to go or give them hugs when they were hurt.
At the end of each day, he would go to his parents and siblings and tell them that "He Loved Them" in the most sincere way, and he meant it.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Harvey Ferguson. He is survived by his Grandmother, Lorraine Ferguson of Ogden, Utah, Grandmother Cassie Ashton and Grandfather Gene Ashton of River Heights, Utah.
Bridger, your place in our home will never diminish or be filled and our family will not be complete until we are all reunited in the eternities. We Love You.
A trust fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank under the name of "THE FERGUSON FAMILY HEALTH FUND."
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the Mendon Stake Center, 476 S. 100 East in Mendon. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services at the church Wednesday.
