Harold Marble Obituary

Harold L. Marble, of Allegan, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Marble was born November 4, 1923, in Cheshire Twp., the son of Donald and Lillian (Tripp) Marble. Harold married Sophie T. Kurpik on February 2, 1946, in Allegan. He worked for over 30 years at Rockwell, retiring in the early 80's. He was a member of the UAW Local # 709.

Surviving are his wife, Sophie; two children, Linda Snyder, David and Norma Marble; four grandchildren, Diane McMann, Stephanie and Michael Ritsema, Derek Lampen, Kayla Marble; three great-grandchildren, Tawne and Ethan Aernouts, Malachi Marble, Joshia Sauceda; his sister, Mildred Marble.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp.

Memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.
