Mark Hardisty

Mark A. Hardisty, 51, died February 9 2012 at the Baltimore Washington Hospital Center. He lived for the last 23 years in Pasadena, moving to Maryland in 1982 from West Virginia. He was born July 27, 1960, to John D. Hardisty of WV and the late Beatrice Bowen. For the last 6 years he worked at the District Court Headquarters in Annapolis, prior at the Northwest Airlines at BWI, and a newspaper distributor in Pasadena for the Baltimore Sun. In May 2011 he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from UMUC. He enjoyed cooking, canning, reading and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan K. Hardisty; daughter, Alex Hardisty of Pasadena; brother, Scott Hardisty of GA; sister, Teresa Padgett of GA; and nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 12 at the Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd., Pasadena, where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Legacy Foundation, 1730 Twin Springs Rd., Suite 200, Baltimore, MD 21227 (attn. Ann Bromery). For online condolences please visit www.stallingsfh.com
