Doris Ann Trahan Obituary
She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 8:30 AM until funeral time with Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by her children, Joseph "Jay" Trahan, Jr. and wife, Tori, Jim Trahan and wife, Rebecca, Susan Ann Tuttle and husband, Jim, Danny Trahan and wife, Phyl, Ronnie Trahan and wife, Cindy, and Kathy T. Babin and husband, Pat; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert Trahan, Sr.; parents, Emile and Ursule Babin Guillot; brothers, Oneil, John, Roy and Fred Guillot; sister, Camille Naquin, Maybelle Guillot and Florence "Sue" Savoie.
She was a member/parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

My family was blessed to have the Trahan's as our neighbors. I will always remember Mrs. Doris's sense of humor...she made those around her laugh. I will also remember she and Mr. Joe swinging under the tree almost every evening. Those were the good old days! At 96, she definitely lived a good life. She will be missed!
