Karen Taylor Obituary

Karen Lee "Petite" Taylor, 71, a native of Houma and resident of Gretna, died on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at New Hope Mausoleum.

She is survived by her father, Mecklen "Moe" Taylor; brother, James Taylor and wife, Brenda; niece, Claudia Ryder and husband, Mike; and uncle, Robert Adrain Bonnette and wife, Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Eva and Ettie Bonnette; and mother, Judy Kheck Taylor.

The family would like to thank the staff of Crossroads Louisiana Inc. of Gretna for the dedicated, loving care given to Karen.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Karen was a joy to work for. She will be missed so dearly by myself and her peers. I loved Karen dearly. Words cannot explain my sorrow. But I know that God will comfort us all.
