For me, Marjorie Landry was one of the really memorable people at LCO H. S. and I was pleased and gratified to get to know her a bit in later years. I last saw her in the archives at Nicholls when she came in for her regular round of volunteering, and really enjoyed catching up with her. It was no surprise at all to learn that she had continued to contribute to others in her retirement. She was a wonderful lady.

Rest in peace Dear Margie. You will always be remembered as dear friend that helped my survive high school. 34 years later you still warm my heart. Heaven is surely brighter today.

Replacing Marjorie as librarian at LCO Jr. Hi was an honor when she moved on to SL. Her passion as a librarian was evident in all the good she created on levels even greater than she may have imagined possible. Now her work on earth is done, she can enjoy all the many blessings awaiting her in heaven.

My deepest sympathy on Marjorie's passing. I worked as a teacher at SLHS with her. The library was her domain, and very helpful in teaching. She was a wonderful librarian. I know she was a very active volunteer in retirement. Rest in peace, your work on earth is done. May angels lead you into Paradise; may the martyrs receive you at your coming and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem. May a choir of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may you have eternal rest.
