Rita Lajaunie Obituary
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosalind Dockery and fiance, Carr E. Wilson III; sons, Thomas and wife, Denise, Hilton and wife, Patty, and Bernard and wife, Melissa Lajaunie; grandchildren, Andre Bienvenu Jr. and wife, Linda, Rachel Gros and husband, Jason, and Anidas, Annie and Jared Lajaunie; great-grandchildren, Tabitha and Andre Bienvenu III, and Grant and Mallory Gros; and great-great-grandson, Ryker Bienvenu.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anidas Bernard Lajaunie; parents, Ernest and Aline Bonvillain Bergeron; brothers, Ernest and Irvin Bergeron; sisters, Josephine Lirette, Julianne Trahan, Bessie Sapia, Rena Hebert, and Hilda Eschete; and an infant sister, Daisy Bergeron.
She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Parish.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, Pam Fonseca.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Rita,
It's so hard to believe it's been 10 years since you went to be with our Lord God! It seems like yesterday when we were all in Tennessee together. What Fun we had! Remembering what a joy you were to be around and getting to know you! Saying some prayers for you and Family as I write this. May the Lord keep you near in Heaven.
