Ella "Carmen, Mimi" Clarke

Ella "Carmen" "Mimi" Clarke, 89, a native of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and resident of Raceland for 55 years, died peacefully Friday, April 3, 2015.
No services are scheduled at this time.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, James D. Clarke; daughter, Rebecca "Becky" LeBlanc and husband, Craig; son, Tony Clarke; grandchildren, Parrish LeBlanc and wife, Ashley, Sage LeBlanc and fiancé, Logan Hymel, Tony Clarke Jr., Kristine Bourg and husband, Darryl, and Kristine's mother, Angele Falgout.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Grey Tyler; mother, Beadie Octavia Barnett Tyler; and sister, Evelyn T. Johnson and husband, Charlie Hall Johnson.
Carmen was a devoted, caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was a secretary at Redi-Bilt Homes and the owner and operator of the Clothes Closet in Raceland.
The family would like to thank the staff of Oschner/St. Anne General Hospital, Internal Medicine Clinic, Oschner Family Doctor's Clinic, Oschner Home Health Care and Oschner Pain Management Clinic for their excellent care with dignity and kindness.
