Gerald Duplantis Obituary
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, July 1, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park - Houma, from 11 a.m. until the Religious Service at 1:30 p.m. The burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Houma.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sandra Branigan Duplantis; four daughters, Nedra Links and husband, Robert, Shaun Higgs and husband, Barry, Angelle Button and husband, Ronald, and Ashleigh Duplantis Chabert; son, Shane Duplantis and wife, Jacquelin; brother, Brian Duplantis; grandchildren, Dr. Travis Links, Candace Bruney, Joshua Links, Matthew Links, Ryan Higgs, Kody Button, Alexis Button, Halie Voison, Avah Chabert, Landon Graham, Kade Duplantis, Kimi Duplantis, Becca and Molly Duplantis; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Davidson and Bessie Boudreaux Duplantis.
Gone yet not forgotten. Although we are apart, your spirit lives within us and forever in our hearts.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park -Houma (4511 West Park Avenue, Gray, LA, 70359) is in charge of arrangements.
