MS. WILLA MAE ALLISON RILEY GREEN, 98. Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Aug. 1, 2006, She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 8, 1907 as the only child of Fredrick and Agnes Arnold Allison. Willa Mae retired after serving many years as an educator in the Duval County Public School District in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Tuskegee Institute, Texas Southern University and Columbia University. Willa Mae Allison wed Otis Alston Riley and unto this union was born their only child, Mercedes Riley Terry. Later in life, she married once again to Charles Green. Willa Mae Allison Riley Green is a Golden Soror and a Lifetime Member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. In addition to her daughter, she leaves one granddaughter, Willa Michelle Terry, M.D. (Ken Burton Esq.) and great-grandchildren Philip, Riley, and Allison as well as many friends and relatives. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00am in the chapel of St. Mary's Catholic Church, 3006 Rosedale, Houston, Texas.
