Drew,
I was sad to read about the passing of your father. You and I go all the way back to St. Stephen's, then Johnston and UT. As we grew older I recognized and understood the fine qualities of your father and his commitment to a better community through the legal system. As Houstonians, we were very fortunate that he served us so well. I have great admiration for all that Judge Jefferson did, the contributions he made and the family he raised.

The family of Luther Berry and his sons Rodney and Reginald Berry(Alpha Phi Alpha alumni) express deep sympathy for their cousin Andrew Jefferson's family and honor his memory for what his has done for his family, community, academic community (TSU, UT, etc.) and legal community. You truly are an honorable person and looked up to by many.

Judge Jeff was a loyal friend, who loved to analyse a court case and his client's position. He also was a true enthusiast for the game of golf. His family and friends will genuinely miss his presence and his constant encouragement.
